Bella Bomber and hubby DJ ODB have been a part of the B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls family for quite some time. Bomber is frequently the first to volunteer, the last one standing at clean up and the girl with the biggest smile. Her love for all things B.A.D. is as infectious as her laugh. I am a merchandiser at Art.com
How did you become involved with our league? How long have you been with us?
My hubby (Old Derby Bastard) and I used to DJ BAD bouts together. I went onto the BAD site one Saturday to see what time a bout was starting, and saw info about Reckless Rollers on the site. It sounded like fun, so I signed up the following month. That was 3 years ago, and it was possibly one of the best decisions I ever made. I’m now skating with the pool while ODB continues to carry the DJ torch.
Do you have a favorite derby moment or one thing you are most proud of?
I get an overwhelming feeling of pride just from being able to say that I skate with BAD. I am humbled being surrounded by such an amazing and inspiring group of coaches, skaters, refs and NSOs. I have learned so much, and I have nothing but love for the league and everything it has done for me. BAD POR VIDA!
If you had one super power what would it be? Would you use it for good or evil?
Mind control. No wait…healing powers. No, no…the ability to talk to animals. GAH!
