2014 Double Header #4 – Champs

This is your last chance to watch your favorite Bay Area flat-track roller derby teams bout each other on our home turf this year. Last year’s champions, the Oakland Outlaws, will bout the winningest BAD home team the Richmond Wrecking Belles for the glory of being the best home team of BAD in 2014. There is good news for all of you hippies and zombies: Berkeley Resistance will bout SF ShEvil Dead at this event, too! First game starts at 5pm, doors open at 3:30PM.

Game 1 @ 5 PM: San Francisco ShEvil Dead v. Berkeley Resistance
Game 2 @ 7 PM (CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT!): Richmond Wrecking Belles v. Oakland Outlaws

This double header will be at the beautiful Craneway Pavilion in Richmond.

BAD Girls Tryouts December 2013!

Want to skate with one of the best flat-track derby leagues in the world? Tryout for BAD Dec 14, 2013! At tryouts, skaters compete for a chance to join our league by participating in drills designed to measure their overall knowledge of derby.

League coaches will be evaluating individual skating skills, strength and athleticism on day one. New skaters do not have to be experts – we are looking for skaters who are coachable and show aptitude, understanding and improvement.

Black & White Scrimmage

Come skate with BAD Dec 21!  B.A.D.’s Black & White Scrimmages are open to all skaters who have passed the WFTDA minimum skills test and have scrimmage experience. We hold scrimmages at three different levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

  • Please bring both a black and a white t-shirt with your number on the back (numbers must follow WFTDA rules for numbers).
  • Bring all gear including mouthguard.  All skaters will be gear checked before they skate.
  • WFTDA and USARS chartered – everyone who skates must sign a waiver.

Skaters :: $5 Entry Fee – cash only

Officials / NSOs :: NO CHARGE! YOU ARE AWESOME FOR SHOWING UP.

Spectators :: Sorry, no spectators, but you can come watch our next game on June 15. Scrimmaging skaters can stay and watch other scrimmages.

Your Bay Area All-Stars, currently ranked #4 in the world, will be traveling to Salem, OR, for the Division 1 Playoffs on September 27-29. We would love for you to join us, cheering on the B.A.D.
