A big, huge thank you to the awesome staff at Thee Parkside for hosting our annual Prom and being so spectacularly accomodating to us. There’s a reason Parkside is our favorite bar in the city. Thank you to Suite Treatments for the lighting and to our hard-working Events Committee for putting this beauty together. And thank you to our league members, volunteers, and FANS for one heck of a gosh darned great season! See you in 2012!

The Last Black & White Scrimmage of 2011!

This is it!  Skaters, this is your last chance to mingle with skaters from other local leagues and skate with B.A.D. Girls in our headquarters.  December 17 will be our last Black and White Scrimmage of the year.  Also, in the holiday spirit,  please feel free to bring canned food which will be donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

B&W Scrimmages are open to skaters who have passed the WFTDA minimum skills test and have scrimmage experience.  3 scrimmages per date:  beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

ShEvil Dead v Sacred City

The zombies of San Francisco ShEvil Dead have been eating lots of brains to prepare for their bout against Sacred City Derby Girls on Oct 22 at Roller King in Roseville, CA

.  Doors open at 6pm, bout starts at 7pm.  Tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance.  Kids 7-12 get in for $5, kids 6 and under are free.

ShEvil Dead v Undead Betties

Final score:  214 – 102 ShEvil Dead

Halloween is coming early this year with a bout between two teams who are too cool to be alive but too vicious to be dead.  Antioch’s Undead Betties are battling BAD’s ShEvil Dead at Paradise Skate in Antioch.  Doors open at 6pm.  This bout will most likely sell out so buy your tickets in advance!

Berkeley Resistance v Sonoma Cinderollas

The hippies of Berkeley Resistance are hopping into their VW bus and heading to wine country to kick some butt!  Resurrection Roller Girls are hosting the bout at Cal Skate in Rohnert Park in Sonoma County.  Doors open at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $15 at the door, kids 5-12 get in for $5, and kids 5 and under are free!  Don’t forget to cheer for Berkeley!  Viva! Viva viva!
